ZIP and RAR encryption evolved over time. Older password-protection are not hard to be broken. If you lost access to RAR archive created in archiver up to the 2.9 version (WinRAR 3.0) proteciotn is weak. And we can almost certinly help you break the protection and recover your data. Simillar sytuation applies to ZIP archives. Stronger encryption was not present in WinZIP until premiere of WinZIP 8.0. It encrypted archived files with stron AES key. If your archive is created in older version and has more than 5 files in it we can almost guarantee restoring your access to stored data.

AES encryption used nowadays encrypts archives with 128 or 256 bit key. It is great place for our computing cluster to show its strength. Dictionary attack gives best chance of recovering password, becouse passwords created by humans are not absolutly  random. They are not randomly asorted letters, special characters and numbers, but words. Even if they do include numbers and special characters, they are still considered words becouse they derive from humen logic and humen language. Our cryptographic dictionaries were composed with use of this knowledge.
